You have to turn on Text Wrapping, then set the max width of the text box... The width is scale sensitive... You can disable this scaling if you edit the start of the objects 2D script.

It looks to me like you are using a zone stamp and Ling has shown you a zone label.
There may not be a 'width' value in a zone stamp but there may be a 'number of characters per line' value in the parameters.
But that may depend on the stamp you are using, they all have different settings.

That would explain the missing text settings.
You can force the width of the stamp in the same way. By default the option is unchecked and the width matches that of your zone name.
