Help with "Drawing Anchor Point: Use Internal Origin"

I can not find proper documentation of how to use this setting to anchor drawings in place. What exactly is the "Internal Origin" of a drawing? Can I set that origin manually for each drawing? Is it somehow related to the Set User Origin tool in the coordinates palette?

I would love to be able to manually place the user origin at a specific gridline and ensure that every drawing is placed on a layout using that origin as the same exact point. Can someone please exapl

To answer my own question, seems like the Internal Origin is just the 0,0 point of Archicad itself. I thought maybe the User Origin was being used as a unique origin point for each drawing, but it does not seem like this is the case.
