Hi all,
Is there a way to show the Transmittal Set Date on all included Layouts even if a Change has not been added to them?
eg.
Issue "Drawing A rev 01" to the engineer on the 1st, I create and close a Transmittal and it shows on my Layout as "01 Issue to Engineer 01/xx/xx"
Issue "Drawing A rev 01" to the interior on the 2nd, I create and close a new Transmittal and have it now show on my layout the previous as well as "01 Issue to Interior 02/xx/xx"

I think you can manually add the Layout to the Transmittal even if no change has been applied, I am just not sure if it then will retain the existing revision code, I think it does.

Hi Ling,
Where are you showing ‘01 Issue to Interior 02/xx/xx’, is it in the transmittal table?
If so, I don’t think you can have a new row show unless the drawing actual gets revisioned up. Either by applying a change to the drawing or ticking “Create new Revision Is in all included layouts’.
The logic we follow in our office to handle that situation would is to create a new transmittal set with ‘create new revision id in included layouts’ untucked, add the layouts that are been resent and then capture the fact that the same drawing revision was sent to engineer first and then interiors second in a separate transmittal summary document. We still use an excel document for this with some smarts reading the transmittal data out of Archicad.

Yeah, I am logging it all on an excel document as well, but I was just re-issuing a bunch of drawings yesterday to another party and staring at the revision history on each layout and getting annoyed that an issue date is not amended to Layouts without any Changes... Might look into the GDL side of things to see if I can inject a custom line into the Revision History array...
