Hotlinked Modules & Wall Intersections

I have placed a hotlinked module of a floor plan in another file. When I initially place the module everything looks great. All wall are intersecting correctly. However, when I save the file and close it down and try to reopen the file later, some of the interior and exterior walls have decided not to intersect. I am not sure why this is happening. Any ideas?

Do the two files (master file and hotlink file) have the same layer combinations and priorities settings?

Thanks for the tip!

I opened the attribute manager and selected the composite walls from the master file and pressed override in my current file.

The walls now intersect correctly.
