Layer Combo error?

Has anyone had this happen?

In the palette that allows you to switch layer combos.... I select a combo.. it changes to the proper layers, but the palette quickly changes back to CUSTOM...

If I open the Layer Dialog, it does NOT show any LAYER COMBO selected

I believe that has happen to me -- I couldn't give you a explicit example, tho. I'll post back if it happens again.
