We seem to have just discovered that when you sign in using "Layer Combination", you only can edit those layers when you have that layer combination selected in your workspace. We haven't taken the 10 minutes to absolutely corroborate this since we are in the middle of a big push, but can anyone confirm or deny this functionality? Seems a little heavy-handed...

Maybe I will have the chance to double check my claim, but my point was that when signing in to Teamwork using a layer combination (say "Reflected Ceiling Plan"), you could only edit elements on the "Walls - Exterior" layer when you had "Reflected Ceiling Plan" chosen as the layer combination for you view. It seemed like when you had another layer combination chose that had "Walls - Exterior" visible and unlocked, you weren't able to edit the elements. I guess I'd better run a test since no one seemed get my original point and maybe my observation was completely daft...

I'll try to repost soon.
I think where I was headed was creating a completely different set of Layer Combinations in addition to those needed for output.

eg.
Reflected Clg Plan
Reflected Clg Teamwork (only visible layers are CLGS, CLG TAGS, SOFFITS, etc)

Floor Plan
Model Editing Teamwork

So the layers that you SIGN INTO are set by the layer combo, but these new combos will only include the layers you need to EDIT.

You, of course, will be able to reset your plan view to the OUTPUT layer combo once you are in the file, so you can see the regular Ref. Clg. Plan.

I hope I am explaining this well...

It will remain the case that only ONE teammate will own any ONE layer at a time...
