Favorites, layers and index nos.

Have favorites created which work well. Created a new template in a few minutes spare time. No favorites work in it, all of them need to be reset because the default layer comes up "Archicad Layer".
I noticed that the index numbers of the new template layers are different than in previous template, even though names are identical. So I overwrote the new layers with the layers from the old template so that names and index nos. are the same.
Favorites still do not set to the correct layer.
Any help there?

Make sure the Layers saved with the Favorites are not locked.
