Hi everyone,
I’m running into some persistent lag with Archicad 28 and was hoping for some advice. Whenever I make a change in the floor plan and then switch to the 3D view, the refresh is slow and can take between 3 to 5 seconds before I can smoothly orbit or pan. This happens even with a basic, white model—no composites or complex materials. (attached is a reference view of the model and an SC of the polycount tool)

My setup: latest version of Sequoia on Macbook Pro 16", M4PRO chip, 48GB RAM, default work environment, and background processing enabled in AC28. - 28.2.2 (5200) SPA Full (arm64)
Has anyone experienced similar slowdowns, or does anyone have tips to speed up the 3D view refresh?
Thanks in advance!
Operating system used: Mac Apple Silicon Sequoia 15.6.1

I don't know why my post is marked on the project data &BIM, this was marked on the Visualization forum as i didn't found any related to issues.

You post is about refresh slowness and lag, which is a Performance-related topic. The "Project Data & BIM" forum is the one that has a "Performance" Label, so I moved it there and added the label to the post.

Understood, thank you @Laszlo Nagy

I’ve been experiencing extreme lagging since the 28.3.0 upgrade. However, if I click on Hardware Acceleration and then the 3D icon to open a new window there is no problem. It’s a workaround and not a very good one, because if I make any edit, I need to close the 3D window, click on Hardware Acceleration and then click on the 3D icon to open a new window. Pan and orbit are both fine – until you make an edit in either 3D or plan. I’m just sharing this information in case it might help solve the problem faster.
