Problem: I have a number of different objects, such as lines, furniture, etc. which are in different layers.

I want to select all these items at the same time, and make them into the same layer, but i cant seem to do that in archicad. Is there a way?

thanks for any info.

Yes.

Once you select the objects, on your Info Box, next to the "Layer" setting, there is a square icon with a hammer on it. (known as "Edit Selection Set")

Click that, and it will open a dialog with multiple settings that can be changed for all elements, namely color and layer.

If the layer you want to change them to is the one displayed in the dialog, I find it easiest to change them all to a "wrong" layer, hit OK, then immediately repeat the process and set them to the correct layer.
