dwg x-ref not visible

Hello and please help me with this:

I am trying to x-ref a dwg file into a worksheet to use as a trace and it is not visible. The x-ref manager says that it is there but I can't see it. I unlocked all the layers both for the drawing and the x-ref and all and I still cannot see it. I zoomed to extents and the zoom changes as though something should be there but, yes, I still can't see it.

I can't think of anything else.

Do you know where my problem is?

I think that the problem is in the DXF very large coordinates. Try to use the command Edit/Select All on the worksheet.

You know, who knows what it is. I tried what you said and nothing is selected.

I opened a new project and did the same thing and it worked properly just like it should.

Then I went around it by going back into my original file and using Place External Drawing (the same dwg file) command instead of x-ref and it worked perfectly. So the only difference is that if the subs change their background I will have to update mine. Not a big deal since it is a small project and I don't expect to be changing anything soon.

Not worth wasting time.
