Is there a general consensus on mm vs. pt on pen weight? .........Thanks again for this!

t I would urge a little caution on the concepts and suggest reviewing some of the many pen and pen set discussions here on ac-talk.
In particular, do note that the library uses pens 1 through 10 and changing the colors and weights of these will affect the defaults for newly placed library parts, perhaps requiring parameter adjustments of each newly placed part. And, if you interact with US/Canadian users, our library still uses pen 91 as the white pen. (Similarly, North American users should note that the international library uses pen 19 as white ... and so if you might bring in any INT parts, you might keep both 19 and 91 as white.)
There are reasons for masks and poches to have a white weight ramp, and reasons for having a grayscale ramp. Also, reasons for having multiple pen tables to re-map the weights and colors of elements for different types of drawings and different scales.
