zones to display in imperial units with decimals?

I've REALLY tried... REALLY.

No matter what I do, I can only get my zone stamp to display in square meters, with no decimal places. Every other unit is set to feet and inches. What I want is square feet with at least one decimal place. What am I missing????

Options/Proferences/Area. Set to decimal sqft.

Thank you SO MUCH. I never thought to look in dimension prefs!
