I am in the zone tool and really frustrated over this funky tool.
I have troubles adding Ceiling height with imperial system as well as centering the zone label itself within the zone...
1. First of all, the zones, I set up to center with the room, but they are STILL not in the middle of the room and I constantly have to relocate them...
2. the ceiling height.. to actually figure out how to add it was a mission. (but WHY?)
3. Also it shows the ceiling height is 120.000" and I can't set it up to show NO decimals, and I need feets. First, who use 3 decimals in ceiling heights, and who use inches or millimeters, lol? I did go to "Working Units" and "dimensions" settings and there is nothing that has 3 decimals to start with so which dimensions settings is it following? I just really don't understand why this tool needs to be this complicated and is not following architectural standards.
please can someone help me with setting through:
1. centering zone names within the room. maybe I am doing something wrong.
2. how to set up dimension parameters for ceiling height ? (feets, and no decimals)
Note: I work in archicad 28, I seen many same questions but answered in previous archicad versions whichch have totally different options so I would appreciate if someone who could help me is working in arch 28 version as well..

1. The Zone Label goes where ever you clicked when you placed it. Maybe make a wish for an auto centering option.
3. The decimal accuracy matches what ever you have set for your Linear Dimension settings, though this can be overriden in the Zone Label settings. There does not appear to be a feet option...
2. It would be nice if Zones could adjust height to a "ceiling" but that would probably require a Zone overhaul so I would not hold my breath.
