zoom with magic trackpad or mouse jittery

hey again,

i just bought a new MAC studio and one issue that was plaguing me on the iMac persists. when i pinch to zoom, there is a lag of maybe 2 seconds, so the result is i pinch further and when AC catches up, i've zoomed way too far. on the Studio it's different but just as annoying. it seems that if both fingers don't contact the track pad at exactly the same time, it won't zoom. i need to take both fingers off and try again. also while panning particularly in plan view, the plan starts to move, then stops then it jerks into pan. most times the pan will drift and slowly come to a stop, as it should, but other times it just stops when my fingers come off the TP. same issue?

I do have the same issue. I couldn't solve it yet. Have you? zooming is okay by me but panning is very nervy. Im working therefore with both Mouse and Trackpad.
