Hi There,

This might be a very silly question but I was wondering if there was a way where I could bounce between my desktop iMac and my Laptop with my 1 license?

There are times when I am on the road and need to make a quick change to my Archicad file/project however my license is only on my iMac which means I need to head back to the office just to get it sorted.

Some clarity around this would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks

Can you use the Licence Manager Tool?

Hi,

I've open u the License Manager Tool and it gives me the following option:

"Please PLUG IN your key or REFRESH the list to manage your licenses".

It has a refresh button which I've selected but nothing comes up and the only working key is the QUIT button.

What kind of license do you have?

I am assuming a software license.

I don't have a software license so I don't know the exact procedure.

But I do know you have to release the license from the machine it is currently running on, and send it back to the company 'pool'.

You can then 'claim' that license on the machine you next want to use.

When finished with it, you have to send it back to the company pool so it can be claimed on another machine again.

I am guessing (as Ling suggested) that you do this through the License Manager program, where you have to sign in with your Graphisoft ID to manage software licenses.

Barry.

Though this functionality might not be available if you are not using a FULL licence?

I am also using a hardware key, so I am unsure on the specifics...

Hi Barry,

Thanks for that. I think you might be right. I'll give it a go.
