I've searched around quite a bit but haven't found any "real world" configurations for the BIM Server. I see old posts for quad cores and some posts for using 64 bit but just want to confirm somebody's actual system that has been in service. We recently just crawled to the end of a 2GB TW project in version 14 using Windows 2003 SB Server (32 bit) and it was brutal with 10 minute + wait times to load and receive changes, etc.
I can only deduct from research that the 32 bit was killing us but still wondering if there is something else causing trouble with response times. I found a lot of different theories but just curious if it's all hardware related?
Has there been any testing with the Windows 2011 server being released currently?
