Error occurred during the 'Configure Module' process

While trying to install the Bim server for archicad 16, at the end of configuration I receive this error "Error occurred during the 'Configure Module' process". I have installed the Hot fix "AC16-3014-HOTFIX1" and still get the error. Any ideas of what the issue could be?

This error shows, that our installer somehow could not configure the BIM Server during the installation. I've seen similar problems when the BIM Server had an earlier module, which was not completely installed either.

Try to perform an installation with repair option on the older module (if there is such). In order to run the installation in repair mode you only need to start a standard installation and it will recognise that the server has been already installed. If that works repair the new module as well.

After these all updates needs to be applied again as the repair installation reverts all files to the original version.

In case these steps don't help, feel free to contact us: http://www.graphisoft.com/support/archicad/

Thank you, I was able to install the bim server in 14 and it fixed the module problem. Now the issue is, I can not upgrade to 16 until the latest hotfix is installed for 14. I can not accomplish this because I get this error. AC14-4204-HOTFIX6-MAC.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should eject the disk image. My 15 has this hotfix installed "AC15-3632-HOTFIX3-MAC" and"AC16-3014-HOTFIX1" for 16. Any ideas.

I am glad that the situation is slightly better. Try to re-download the disk image of the hotfix package, maybe it is damaged. You can find it here: http://www.graphisoft.com/support/archicad/downloads/ArchiveDownloads.html

As a general advice the best is having only 1 or 2 modules installed on the server to save resources. So I would recommend to migrate the v14 projects to v15 or to v16, uninstall the v14 module and then install v16.

Thanks again Marton, I have re-downloaded the disk image, but I it is acting like I'm trying to install an earlier build of a hotfix.
