How can you tell if a Delta Cache server is actually doing anything?

Kia ora! We are setting up a delta cache server to see if it improves our remote office connection. The setup has gone fine and I am testing connecting to it from a few workstations but - apart from being able to test the connection in the WE settings - there is nothing to confirm if it is doing anything. The log files on the delta cache server show that they are being modified which seems to confirm that the server s being accessed but - as the delta cache server does not create data files in the same manner as a BIMcloud server - I have no proof that it is doing anything other than "waving/saying Hi" to the Archicad clients.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Karl

@Karl Frost, running tests to measure the Delta Cache performance is a good approach to see whether using it helps in your environment. The time of actions with data transfer can be decreased when you use a Delta Cache close to the remote client computers. The first Join action will take the same amount of time as without a Delta Cache but when another user from the same network joins the same project, they will use the Delta Cache data instead of accessing the Model Server directly. If you can see the log files modified, the setup was okay, Delta Cache is operational.
