How to reduce time for log in / open teamwork files everyday

Hi all,

We're working on a project with about 12 people in team. Every morning we open teamwork file at the same time and it's very easy to crash out. Then we have to open file one by one (it's stop crashing). But it's take much time for that job every day with 12 people and I'm looking for a better solution.

Any of you had similar issue? Could you provide some ideas for that

Riiiiv - what's your line speed like? Even with the split that I mentioned I'm having issues signing in remotely - the problem is the initial download of the file - it almost always fails (error messages reads: "Failed to get project file. Server returns error code").

We're on a 1Mb/s line which is too slow I believe, but it's really about the upload speed on the other side from me (40kb/s O.o) so trying to download a TW file that's 1.2 Gb is madness IMHO. anyone else dealing with slow lines like this? any clever solutions out there?

regarding files splitting - another option I've used is to split the model into modules as well as the normal model/layout split. See attached pic that illustrates the project setup.
