Role Permissions - internal drawing?

The user's role has permission to create, edit and delete both views and layouts, however they're not able to bring a view into a layout. Which permissions control their ability to do this?

OK, I am glad it worked out.
But I have not heard about this Role setting corruption thing before.
Could you report this to your local reseller?

I'll contact the local reseller. I assume user roles and permissions are not generally modified 15+ times a day, which is likely what caused the issue. I know that with some other popular software including many Microsoft, Autodesk and Bentley products that frequent rewriting of settings files can cause corruption which is why I'd speculate that a corrupt profile is likely cause of the problem.
