3D CLIPPED VIEW

All,
I am viewing a model with 3d explorer and walk trhough with the arrow keys; however while doing so the model gets clipped automatically when moving forward. Portion of the model disapper while moving!! Please help!!

This is as I recall a problem with OpenGL and some video cards. You can try updating your drivers. There may be some settings that can be adjusted. I haven't had the problem myself (no problem on Macs AFAIK) and those I've known with the problem fixed it with a driver update.

There have been other comments in the forum on this. Search for "clipping plane of death"

Are you experiencing the problem in Virtual Building Explorer, or in the 3d OpenGL window in ArchiCAD?

It is from the 3d window open gdl mode.

I folllowed the link and it definately worked out. This happened in my laptop and not on my desktop machine. The file on the desktop remained the same. Well it works now on my laptop now. Hopefully GS will figure it out.
