I want to overrida all surface materials except glass. Basically I want a white model with glass material.

We don't have AC20 yet, but in 19 I would hotlink the .pln to a new file and use delete and replace on all but the glass material and a whitewash material.
It seems to work with rulesets, so I would guess it should be possible, unless it is an override per element rather than override certain surfaces. In latter case I would guess your whole window/door/etc element will become one surface, regardless of glass.

Yes I think that is the case. I think it's good enough and the over rides will play an important role in how we communicate our projects in early stages (as well as in more detailed).

David wrote:I tried that. Maybe I did something wrong with the materials. I opened an AC19 template in 20. Will try some more.

Mats:
Have you created a GO Combination that contains that GO Rule, and is that GO Combination active?
