AI Visualize Rendering Issue in AC28

Dear Community,

I’ve been trying to create a rendering of a 3D window using AI Visualize in AC28 for the past three days, but I haven’t had any success. Has anyone else experienced similar issues?

After some time, I receive a message stating that I currently do not have a valid license.

If anyone has tips or guidance on how to resolve this, I’d greatly appreciate it! I previously enjoyed using this tool in AC27 and found it extremely helpful.

Thank you for your time and support!

Kind regards,

You're welcome... but it is not an additional license... it is a totally different one.  If you have a standard license under a software maintenance agreement - now called a Perpetual License - you cannot run the AI Visualizer, or any future cloud based features.  You must convert your license and SSA payment plan to a subscription plan which provides the additional features... at a cost and a loss in future flexibility.   This thread is incredibly long... but you will want to read some of the information here:

As you can see in the message (and from many other posts in this forum) you must have an Archicad subscription cloud license or and educational license.

SSA/Forward licenses will not work.

I am assuming you do not have a collaboration subscription cloud license?

Karl,

Thank you very much for your response. And happy new year.

It seems, as I understand it, that my license provides upgrades to future versions of AC but does not include an additional license to use the AI Visualizer.

Unfortunately, I will need to wait until next week for my reseller to become available to determine what kind of upgrade I need.

Thank you again. It seems I’ll have to hold on a little longer.

Best regards,

I have contacted my reseller and come to the conclusion that I will wait until March when my license expired to move to a new license.

Can wait to March
