Animations.mov Size suggested for web

I´m upgrading my web site, and I want to show some work on animations, but I don´t know if I need to create again the animation for smaller size, or there´s any other way to compress my original files with cleaner. What is the best size to show animations for web?

If you are talking about the "Cleaner" application from Discreet (or should I say Autodesk now), then you have one of the best tool to prepare animations for different formats, without re-rendering the original animation.

And I suppose Cleaner comes with a nice set of usable presets.
