Necko is right. The old ArchiLumos is way to slow to be useful, however, that is why a new version is comming out. In the mean time, I like having the Radiosity icon on my tool bar. It gives me something to look forword to until Art*Lantis 5 comes along or ArchiCAD has LightWorks or something like that.

Which will come out first? Art*Lantis 5 with superfast Radiosity or ArchiCAD 9 with LightWorks?
How will these two programs work together in the future?

I believe this is a link to demo versions of ArchiLumos which work for Mac and PC. Does not require registration like the link provided at the first post in this thread.

I want to believe that this is a link to images created with ArchiLumos (not Shade):

Input towards earlier questions about multi-CPU radiosity solutions, as far as I know Shade never had the ability to use multi-CPU for the radiosity solution portion of a rendering. It did have an excellent method of distributed rendering for the raytrace portion. This technology might belong to Shade and won't appear in ArchiLumos.

I just learned that C4D can distribute the radiosity portion of the render between multiple CPU's.
