Hello freinds, i think this is my first post here, so hello. I see a lot of friends in here, so... hi!

This is a design that i have been working on and off for some time now and its special for me. A dear friend of mine, Anna Gawlik from Poland has the task to design the interior, shes a very gifted girl and i know she will do a great job on it.

It should ... provided your steel elements were a bit beefier.

However, make sure that you have some reviving agents when you show this to a structural engineer 😉

Wouldn't it help to give the beams a pre-bent form, compensating for the bending deformation they would receive with this overhang?

It's nice that you are not only worrying about esthetical qualities 😉

Think about this project:

The whole wall functions as a beam to allow the cantilevered construction.

Well ...

He will have to have some parapet on that flat roof so that the water does not seep; the logical slope is to the base of the cantilever. Therefore, a rather high beam/web beam can be nicely hidden in the parapet ...
