Is there anybody here in ArchiCad forum that tried to make an object invisible (like a roof) but with cast shadow alternative on in Artlantis Render 2? I can't get it work. Shouldn't it work or is it a bug?
I wan't to look on my building from above seeing 'through' the roof but the sunlight only goes through windows.

Does not work for me. In the UI, when the check for Material is Visible is cleared, the checkboxes for 'cast shadows' and 'receives shadows' remain active - which gives the impression that things would work like in Cinema 4D and give the result that you want.
So, the question for Abvent is whether this is a UI error - and the checkboxes should be disabled / gray after making the material invisible - or a programming error - and the shadows should be cast/received by the invisible element(s).
Best to ask such thing on the Artlantis forums:

I just searched the Abvent forums and found this:

so, apparently this feature worked before...

I found also that in the forum, but that was later versions of 1. So my question was if you got it worked in 2.
But thanks.
