Big village + Trees ???

Hello,

I'm at the end of my diploma project and I have a problem - the village is pretty big (1,8 mil sq m) and I have to put trees for the visualisation. Using Archicad 15 and Artlantis 4. The trees must be light enough (for fast rendering) and easy to put in large numbers (thousands maybe). Do you have any suggestions ?

ps sorry for my bad English, I'm from Bulgaria

I don't have a sample with me at the moment, but would recommend using low res tree images rather than 3d trees. If you did want to do something more 3 dimensional you can always use "lollipop trees".

for presentation you can also place them in photoshop, wich you'll probably have to use anyway... in this site http://www.sketchupartists.org/tips-and-tricks/ there's some information about it..
good luck
