Blurred images when putting on website

Our office is selling stock plans on our website. We use Archicad to save the floorplan to .jpeg. When I resize the image or change resolution, the text becomes shadowed and blurry, however the lines (walls) etc. still look fine.
Can anyone clue me in on how to create/export the floor plans to be shown on our website without this distortion?

Print to a PDF. Open in Photoshop then Save As web. Saving straight to a .jpeg is a bad idea. Printing/ Saving to a PDF will get a better quality starting out to work with.
