I have contacted him and he is interested in seeing what Archicad can do. I've had a look around the Graphisoft website but I didn't have any luck finding any movies or descriptions of the Construction Simulation process.
Can anyone point me in the right direction so who knows we may be able to convert him from theDark Side

The construction simulation is entirely different, it is linked to a real construction schedule. It would show the pad, then the steel frame rising, the roof complete, then the exterior walls and finally the interior finish which , if it is realistic, would go on forever and eventually go over budget. HAThe construction simulation is what he is interested in as it shows a more realistic animation rather than a simplistic boolean animation as you say.
