Door and Window Frames not rendering behind glass walls

I'm having an issue with door and window frames not rendering when behind glass balustrades.

The 3D image shows what the window should look like with the frame, however, the rendered image makes the frame transparent.

Has anyone else had this issue and know of a workaround?

It probably has something to do with the Ray Depth and Ray Threshold settings.
