Doors opened/closed

When I render a model with doors, the rendering always show the doors as closed even though they are open on my plan, and their properties indicate as such. How can I have the doors show opened on the rendering?

Thanks,

open up your door's settings and find the 3D representation in the "Parameters" dialogue. you'll see a separate opening angle for 3D - allows more flexibility with your object.

see attached screenshot.

i seem to recall there used to be an option in earlier doors to set the 3D opening to the 'same as in 2D'. or vice versa. or maybe that was the essential library doors . . . i digress. would nice to see that option back in the standard doors maybe?

... looking at the project in the 3D window and selecting all doors first; that is, if you want all of them open.

If just some, use the OpenGL to walk the path of the movie and open the doors as you come to them, then save.
