i would like you to know how can i make a fire in 3D ,please advise me cos i need it to get in a competition ,i mean fire or a torch ,i appreciate any help

I have a (non-ArchiCAD) suggestion: ParticleIllusion (www.wondertouch.com)

Otherwise, use a photograph, make a transparancy channel in Photoshop and export as tiff to use as a texture.
Then make the material emit some "light" (that is to say: increase the emission value, use an orange color and add a point-light on the place of the flame).
