HOW TO ENTER CUSTOM RGB VALUES ON SURFACE COLORS??"?

Anonymous
Not applicable
I'm a little rusty from not using Archicad in a few years but there used to be an easy way to enter custom RGB values in the surface settings but I cant seem to find how to do it anywhere.

I'm sure its right under my nose but can someone point me in the right direction?

thx!

(FYI-I have the RGB values from Sherwin Williams and want to match them for doing colors on exterior materials--I realize its not an exact match but its good enough for my purposes)

Davidjones1:

Surfaces dialog box, Engine Settings: Open GL, Exposure to Light panel > click on Surface Color. On the Mac the color picker will appear, select the Sliders icon at the top and RGB Sliders in the pop-up list.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

I also find this website useful

https://imagecolorpicker.com

You take a screenshot of say a product website image an then get the RGB numbers to set up[ your own colour.

If you are on Mac then Launchpad > Digital Colour Meter will give you RGB values.
