I am a new member here and this is my first post.
First of all I would like to thank you all as I have learned allot from all of you at this forum. I have used AC 7 for a few weeks; but month ago I have acquired AC 9. I have been very much impressed apart from other features the quality and speed that ArchiCAD can produce stunning visualizations.
Here is a scene of a kitchen modelled and rendered completely in AC 9 (without any post processing) that I have done in a few minutes. As I am still learning I would like to receive your constructive comments especially in lighting and texturing.
Thank you,

Thank you for your comments, I must confess that they gave me a bit of confidence in working with ArchiCAD.
Actually we Zanzibarians call our islands the 'Spice Islands', you are right the place is exotic, peaceful, and right now all our tourists hotels are full of peoples coming from everywhere in the world.
Actually all the furnitures, fixtures and everything in the scene are from the box (ArchiCAD 9 library) - and I have used the default sizes. While some of the textures are ArchiCAD standard textures others have been downloaded from Lightworks-user site (eg the floor and cabinets)

The purpose of the Image was to see what can be achieved in ArchiCAD (texturing and lighting), but as I am purely a Civil Engineer your suggestion is valuable to me.

Maybe you have a new career awaiting you, if you wish, because it was a very good design ;->

After the Kitchen, let's move to the lounge. Here is another image of the lounge I have created again in ArchiCAD 9.0 without any post processing.
The purpose was to see how textures can be accomodated in scenes and and lighting effects. The scene is not a design of a building hence it was not prepared for any other purpose other than exploring what can be achieved in lighting and texturing in ArchiCAD 9.0
All comments and critiques are welcomed
