How can i improve the speed of rendering of this engine? I have an Q6600 8mb cache and a Q9450 12mb cache, and the same speed. I want this engine to rendering like lightworks rendering engine . It is posible

If this discution has been before please post the link.

No. It is not possible. The internal engine is old and slow and not likely to be improved. The Lightworks engine also supports multi-processing which makes it many times faster than the IE which does not (last time I checked).

ok, i agreed with what you say, buy have you remark how is a picture rendered with internal engine and how a picture is rendered with lightwork?

the picture rendered with internal engine it's more beautiful that lightwork.
ok i understand that lightwork it's the progrees in the rendering engine, but how can i do that the picture i render in lightworks to make beautiful as internal engine? the colors are different, etc. i should change the at materials something to look smoother and nice!

Lightworks is actually capable of far better rendering than the internal engine but it has to be set up correctly. There is far to much to go into here. If you have particular questions it would be best to post examples of renderings of the same scene from both so we can see which problems you may be having (there are several possibilities).

Lighting and backgrounds are handled differently in each and the material settings as applied to the rendered walls, etc. are also different. The default materials are generally set to match (more or less) between the two engines but I have been less than happy with these. It is also possible for the same material to have completely different settings in each engine. For example it could be dull, red and opaque in one and shiny, blue and transparent in the other. There is a button in the LightWorks setting to "match to internal engine" which can be OK but often produces questionable results. Shiny things in the internal engine tend to get mirror finishes in the Lightworks settings and the bump maps are exaggerated.

yes your are right, you get it the point. thatțs what i have want to tell. anyway i will render 2 pic, with the same materials, but one with internal engine and one with lightsworks. tomorrow i will put the picture. thanks a lot for be so fast in answering.

i have uploaded 2 pic, one with internal engine and one with lightworks. you will se the difference, in the pic randend with internal engine the color are more true, the materials are closer to reality, intensty and better randered. in lightworks the colors are weak and false.

The main differences I see are the tone of the yellow paint and the overall lighting. You may want to try tweaking the LW settings for the paint to get a fuller, richer color. It may not be the RGB values which likely match the IE settings. LW has other settings that define how the material responds to the lighting. The lighting settings can get as complex as you like and are more than I can get into here.

If you really want to get into the subtleties and advanced features available in LW you may want to look into Dwight's book LightWorks in ArchiCAD.

yes and the light it's different, but the texture, the texture is better in internal engine, i love that texture, it's more real. the real purpose is when the client sees the future house randered like this is more real, the eye like's it, that's what i want, the texture, the light, etc. , not to modify the materials, the colors, the glow of materials, etc. if i have to modify 30-40 materiales to get it correct, i lose much time.

rendering with internal engine the picture it's more realistic, and more beautiful. that's want i want. beautiful and like in real live. the lightworks it's fake.

it can do rendering better with lightworks that internal engine? even the picture rendered with lightworks to be similar with the one rendered with internal engine.

The LW bump maps created by matching the IE settings are typically grossly exaggerated. That looks to be the problem here.

I don't have the time to explain all this in detail. The short answer (for me) involves the long effort (for you) of taking the time to learn how to improve the material and rendering settings. You could get considerably better results than you presently are from both engines, though the quality (and speed) can be much higher with LW.

IE settings are typically grossly exaggerated? what do you mean?

Ok i understand to render with LW engine, but to make settings for materials combine them with both engines and finaly to render with LW.
