At my age, most of my glossiness has rubbed off.


In this case, there are no light sources to be reflected - the study is all about projected light, so, next time, acrylic covering for sure.

it is - but what makes it slightly ambiguous is that there is no 'frame' or edge condition: the tiles and glowing panel meet too perfectly. although i'm sure it could be detailed in such a way, reality isn't often so perfect.

I was just working with the light issues, but that's a good point - anybody who's NOT a goob looks for supporting evidence. Thickness counts.

thickness, aye! it's same as the woodgrain principle - it bugs the hell out of me when i see the grain running vertically across a beam!
