unfortunately, AC internal light definition REALLY SUCKS at the moment, it's obsolete, clunky and doesn't even support LW to the full extent of its potential.
However, to answer your question, you could use additional uplight or tweak the actual lib part in GDL by adding a new light source in it.

or just make the fixture glow by making its material:

1: Reflection: constant: white

2: Pipeline: Graphisoft Emission: white: Attenuation 0

and for the surrounding light - the most versatile light is the wall light indirect that makes diffuse glow around itself..... scroll to the bottom of the parameter list.
