Lightworks not rendering ArchiCAD "spot light" lam

Lightworks seems to be unable to render my ArchiCAD "spotlight" lamps.

The model and lamps render OK with the internal engine but using Lightworks the lamps turn into little halos on the floor/walls (see attached image). They look about the same size as the "light cone radius" setting in the lamp settings. The general light in the foreground and Window lights in the openings look fine.

It seems either the Lightworks engine can't understand the beam spread or the light isn't interacting with the walls etc except from the original source.
Altering the beam spread, lamp falloff, etc settings of the lamp seems to make no difference. I can't find any rendering settings that make a difference either.

Am I missing something here!?! It's a preliminary render but the deadline's looming fast.

Ooops, one more time with attachment.

We have tried this on a G4 and G5 with different specs but both using ArchiCAD 9.1 btw.

Ah ha. Brilliant.

Thanks Dwight.

Nice to see the new book avoids the "boring computer book how-to" style as well as the previous one did. If I'm giving up vices for a book there better be some entertainment value in it...

Cheers,

David.
