I am getting more requests for landscaped fly-thru with buildings. It seems like AC is too intensive for 3d landspace. There are over 80 plants. I can do bitmap plants, but wonder if you have any recommendations for additional software? I own Artlantis but rarely use it. I also have access to Maya class locally, but I believe that is overkill. I work on PC's with P4 or Xenon, some dual processor. Thanks

vue d'esprit would be ideal, and cheap

import the building as a 3ds file from archicad

If you are fast, the lastes issue of 3D World magazine had a free copy of Vue D'Esprit 3 (rendering limited to 1024x768) included.

Other solutions?

WorldBuilder (not cheap, free old version was included with 3DWorld too).

Max, Maya, Lightwave, Cinema4D, XSI, etc... are all capable. Sometimes dedicated landscape plugins come in to rescue as well.
