Making a light source glow

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hello. Please help me.

I am trying to make a light source glow in Archicad... for example I have a ceiling with fluorescent troffer lights but I want to be able to see the actual lamps illuminated, not just the light they throw.

If anyone can help me out with how to do this I would be very grateful!

Thanks

Jen

Assign Neon shader.

You should also ask questions like this in Presentation/Rendering and multimedia forum.

I have a private message asking about this. Please do not send me private messages on things that are forum questions unless you need support for your work with my book.

Not that i wouldn't answer on the forum...

The issue is that the constant reflectance shader doesn't actually glow. This is correct. To make a light fixture glow, a light source must be in there.
Many Archicad light fixtures have a light cone built in.
