OpenGL 3D rendering problems: only one object gets rendered

Hi

I recently installed ArchiCAD on my notebook and have one small problem with the OpenGL 3D rendering I want to use (because it's better and faster than the internal engine): I mostly only get one object rendered - all other objects mysteriously disappear. This one objects shows right behavior if I explore the model, but I want to see all objects.
Sometimes if I'm lucky and draw another object while I'm in 3D view I can see one old object and the one new, but not always...
Can someone help me with this problem? What can I try?

Software: ArchiCAD 13 / ArchiCAD 14 (same problem in both versions)
OS: Windows XP Pro SP 2
Hardware: IBM ThinkPad T60, ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 (512 MiB)
Graphics Driver: 8.593.100.7-... (from 2009 but the most recent the vendor supplies...)
OpenGL: 2.1.8544 Release (as EVEREST tells me. Catalyst Control Center says 6.14.10.8544 but that has to be the driver version not the OpenGL version)
DirectX: 9.0c (4.09.000.0904) - came with Windows
HDD and Memory free: > 1 GiB (enough as ArchiCAD doesn't complain)

I already tried following:
  • setting all 3D graphics setting of the driver to "software may decide"
  • tried to enable OpenGL tripple buffering
  • Setting "Ignore Hadware Acceleration in 3D" in ArchiCAD and restarting
  • pressing [Ctrl]+[Shift]+ - but this only shows the wireframes of the missing objects
  • creating a new project where I only paint three objects (walls)
Thank's in advance.

Are you sure that you used the "Show All in 3D" command, and not the "Show Selection in 3D"?

Cheers,

Hi Karl,

thanks for your reply. First I also thought this could be the problem, but I surely use "Show All in 3D" ([Ctrl]+[F5]) command.

If I use the internal Engine I can see all objects and as soon as I switch to OpenGL they disappear (only wireframe is shown and as soon as I move the view (e.g. + Mouse move) they completely disappear).
