Problems with 3D view

Hello All,

I am having a problem with my 3D view...Let me explain the situation.

I am on 8.1 build 2275. I am able to draw and navigate normally in my 3D window with the 3d windows settings set to the Internal 3D engine (see attached image of setting dialog).

I would like to use the OpenGL setting. When I switch from the Internal 3D engine to the OpenGL, I get a distorted image...although when I go to navigate to a new view with the turn tool, the image is correctly shown without the distortion. I know I am able to produce the distorted image with the proper camera settings...but this is not my intention. My coworker has tried this with the OpenGL setting and he says he does not see the distorted image.

I am on a HP Pavilion ze5300 with 1024 MB ram. I have an ATI Radeon IGP 345M video card with 64mb. I do work with 2 monitors, but I am not sure that should make a difference in this situation. The monitors are typically set to the same resolution-1280x1024

Are any of you out there experiencing a similar situation? I really would like to use the OpenGL setting, it is much faster.

TIA

Have you tried the AC test file for Graphics cards? ... it would be useful feedback. We used to have a problem with (a couple of) ATI cards. I'm now an nVidia guy
