If you mean create a movie / fly-through, as opposed to a still render, set up your camera path (various methods but i usually start with a preferred view, click on the little triangle on the 3d navigator toolbox and "put a camera into the path", and go from there putting more cameras in at various points, you can move them later), then go to image, create fly-through and select the various options for output type. In your case, in Results section of fly-through options select Quick Time Movie in top pull down. Also select "PhotoRendering window" as source.

Hope this helps, and good luck!

OK, here i am giving other people advice and I haven't even got it working right myself yet.
What is the best output method for fly-throughs (except "don't do it"). I want to be able to edit together a few different camera paths in Windows Movie Maker, and insert some stills too, so have been saving to .avi format. I have been having trouble with the output results, maybe with the compression setting, sometimes getting bad colour shifts (both 30% and 75% comp) and very poor image quality, but if I set it to "no compression" the file (for 30sec movie) is 500Mb, and that plays very jerky first time through, then appears smoother 2nd time but only for the first 10 secs or so.
I'm not after Lord Of The Rings quality here, but just a reasonable fly-by.
Attached is a compiled screen-shot of the options available (although on some options it tells me "codec not complete" or something to that effect). I have also tried checking the "Rebuild model for each frame" box but get a couple of frames rendered then blank background from then on.
Any help greatly appreciated, thanks.

Update: Just spoke to Cadimage tech support, they suggest Cinepak or Intel Indeo codecs, with compression set at about 80-90%. So I'll give that a go.
Thanks for listening.

As I am not a big $-user and can't go to the host of "professional" post-production tools available, I use "Roxio" to put my 3D output together.
It is amazing in the number of things it does & is cheap.
I have yet to find any file format or setting or codec that it can't seemlessly handle.
And when it renders the movie, it improves the output for the designated media.
A DVD-playable prsentation looks breathtaking on a 52" screen! And I am still in 8.1, drooling at the thought of raytracing & .....
If Quicktime & Media Player are not doing it for you, try Roxio.
