Skylight Extra/un-wanted surface

How can I get rid of this extra surface that came free of charge with this pyramid skylight from the Special Edition library?

OK, I figured out how to get rid of it. When you first place the skylight you have a choice of setting the pitch at rise/run or degree. If you choose degree, you don't get the extra surface.
