Switch to Cinerender in AC from Artlantis

I'm finding it hard to switch from Artlantis 2.0 over to the new internal CineRender that comes inside my updated ArchiCad... but my new Archicad won't export to my older Artlantis, so either I adapt to ArchiCads internal cinerenderer, which seems wise in the long run, or I plunk down another $1000 bucks for another artlantis upgrade. So I'm going to try to get similar quality renders straight out of ArchiCad.

Where can I find good trees, shrubs, and people for rendering, as opposed to the clunky polygon robots? (and Graphisoft why aren't plenty of these just included in the base library of a $5,000 program?)

How do people handle the ground surface? Will I now need to model every site, or is there the equivalent of the Artlantis 'Infinite Ground' plane available?

Is there a way to use a 3d 'dome' sky with Cinerender?

Thanks for any helpful tips! Been using Artlantis for at least a decade, not sure my brain can adapt!

Thanks!
