The plotted rendering is dark. why?

In order to plot a decent rendering on a I must lighten the pictured (tiff) to a haze in photoshop. No matter what paper quality is selected.

I have never found hp plotters to be very good for color printing. I have a high res cannon printer. If you like, you can email privately the image to me, and I will try to print out on my printer.

Also, I do all my color printing from PhotoShop instead of Plotmaker.
