Tiles in Lightworks

Hello,

I am preparing a bunch of materials for an overnight batch render.. and I am struggling to create my tile textures for Lightworks.

There are 3 different tiles colours used throughout the project in different areas.. each tile is 600mm x 600mm..

I am not sure how to create a material to represent the colour tile and size for when I render it out through Lightworks..

Thanks in advance, I have been struggling!

Cheers,
Chrissy

Batch render? Right.

For beginners like yourself, use the internal engine dialog to set texture 'sizes' since this dialog uses actual dimensions rather than relationships like the LightWorks dialog does.

Once you've set the dimensional size correctly, switch to the LightWorks material dialog and click the"Match Internal…" button.

Now, if your tiles require mortar/seams, you'll need to add this to the image in a photo editor.

And: If you want the rendering engine to express the depth of the dark mortar lines, add the tile image to the Displacement Class Height Map shader where it will create relief.
