Which 3D Rendering Application with ArchiCad?

I used to use Autocad/Microstation and model and render in FormZ. Everybody here talks non stop about cinema4D. I am a new Archicad user and would like to know which render app i should use to achieve best results.

Getting an ArchiCAD model inside Bryce can be done through OBJ or 3DS-files, IIRC.

The disk also contains DAZ|studio, which can pose 3D-figures, not unlike Poser.

PLEASE, COULD SOMEONE HELP ME ABOUT USING LIGHTSCAPE??
SEEMS TO ME THAT LS AN EASY APP, BUT WHEN I EXPORT MY ARCHICAD 3D MODEL AND TRY TO OPEN IT IN LS THE FOLLOWING PROBLEMS HAPPENS:

1 - THE MODEL ONLY APPEARS WHEN I USE THE WIREFRAME OR HIDEN LINE MODE. WHEM i CHANGE TO ANOTHER MODE, ESPECIALLY SOLID NEEDED FOR RENDERING NOTHING APPEARS...

2 - IN PERSPECTIVE MODE, THE MODEL NEVER FITS TO THE INTIRE WINDOW. FOR IT TO HAPPEN I MUST USE ZOOM+ BUT I LOOSE THE POSITION I WANTED.

3 - SEEMS TO ME THAT ALTHOUGH THE LIGHTS I USED IN AC9 APPEARS
IN THE LIGHT LIST, THEY MAKE ANY EFFECTS OVER THE MODEL AND AFTER PROCESSING ALL OF THEM DESAPEARS OF THE LIST

4 - WHEN I TRY TO RENDER AND USE THE SOLID MODE THE WORK WINDOW BECOMES INTIRE BLACK . THE RENDERING IS SO FAST LIKE THERE WERE NO SURFACES THERE TO BE CALCULATED.

Lightscape is officially retired. It is not sold anymore.

Don't know if you can get in on ebay or so. I guess obtaining a legal license will be a problem.

You should try the ArchiLumos demo. It uses the same concept as Lightscape and is still available.

u have a icon of camera and there u will have to adjust what to see. Move slider "far" and "near" and whatch results. U will be able to see what is in fileld of camera view

WHen i want to produce some nice images i put geometry from archicad but lights i use from lightscape or erco site. When u import lights from archicad it is imortant to adjast these lights in ls

That probably means that no light is in the scene. First, try to play with daylight, and there u will realise how lightscape works, when u mastered this, then it is easy to use other type of light.

Do u have user manual of ls?
Did u read tutorials?
If u didnt read this from above,do it and a lot of your problems will be solved
