nice effect - is that the only light you have in the scene?

eagerly awaiting the release of your book,

no - I always pop a little golden general light under the floor in the foreground to color the shade

Fundamental slogan from prior book : "A picture is just a bunch of dots" found to contain too many words. New slogan:"It's a trick!" [shouted in outrage with best angry, cynical voice - pracice this slogan since there will be plenty of anger-producung tricks arriving in the new book - neessary to cope with the ease of radiosity in other apllications]

Working full time on completing book - last minute saviors Farrell and Patrick have now volunteered models for final lessons. Still looking for huge glass tower - may have to revert to prior model for that one.

I've got a double layered two-plus story one with multiple textures applied that I did in formZ some years ago if you want it (and if I can find it). It's definitely odd, though - a failed attempt to make a transparent/translucent tower/chimney that would cast multiple colors of lights on the walls (like a prism) when sunlight or firelight illuminated it. It looks kinda cool, though, if you ignore practical considerations <g>.
